Lisie hospital department of Neurology and Neurosurgery and Allied Health sciences jointly celebrated International Epilepsy day on 10/02/2025. The HOD of the department of Neurology Dr. Bindhu delivered the welcome speech, following this the lamp lighting ceremony is done. The inaugral address is given by Dir.Rev.Fr. Paul Karedan following this an E-launch of the lisie advance centre for Epilepsy and sleep disorders was done. Followed by the interactive section highlighting the theme of International epilepsy day “milestones of our epilepsy journey “. Few patients and their caretakers came up with the story of their journey through the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy in our hospital. Quiz competition and poster competition was conducted as a part of International epilepsy day.The prizes were distributed to the winners by the Principal of Lisie college of Allied Health sciences Dr. Shabeer. S. Iqbal following which Dr. Soumya V.C the consultant Neurologist and Epiletologist who played a major role in shaping Lisie advance centre of epilepsy and sleep disorder delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was concluded with lisie anthem followed by a flash mob performed by the students of Lisie College of Allied Health Sciences.
