World AIDS day was celebrated on December 1st, 2023 at Lisie College of Allied Health Sciences in library.The programme started at 2:00 pm with prayer. Ms Sreethu S. L (chairperson, LCOAHS)delivered a wonderful welcome speech. Awareness session about HIV/AIDS for the students on the theme, ” Let Communities Lead” by Dr. Remi Remakanth (junior consultant; Transfusion Medicine, Lisie Hospital) pointed out about the pathogenesis, transmission, laboratory diagnosis etc. The class was very interactive and informative. Ebin (2023 batch, Bsc. MLT) proposed the vote of thanks. Poster competition were also conducted.
